No words can describe how much I am thankful for what Dr Boothe has done for me. He is truly and expert in his field and not only does he perform surgeries just to enhance people’s vision, but he saves lives!

My story is probably a little different than other people’s. Six months ago I got into a terrible car accident. After the collision with the other car, my car went on fire while I was still inside of it. Thank God I got out of it on time before it completely burned down. After the accident, I noticed that my eyesight started getting worse and worse. I went to the optometrist who told me that it was probably a reaction to some chemicals and oils that were collecting inside the car while it was on fire. It turned out that the story was partially true. Although, I was not allergic to the fumes, they permanently damaged my eyesight; that made me so nurvous, because I thought that it would get worse as the time went by. I’ve decided to take actions right away. I’ve heard about laser eye surgeries and the “miracles” that it has done to people. Ironically, I live just a few minutes away from the Boothe Laser Eye Center. I decided to walk in one day and get some feedback on what I should do about my eyes. After going through some eye testing procedures, it turned out that I was qualified to get the laser eye surgery done. Dr William Boothe operated on me himself. A week after the surgery, I already saw a huge difference. My vision is 20 19, which is the optimal eyesight that my eyes could reach. Thank you everyone in the Laser Eye Center, you changed my life. –>

I just want to thank you for the exceptional work you have done for me. The amount of effort and heart that you put into what you do is unbelievable.

I thought that I would never see things clear again. For the past two or three years, my eyesight significantly got worse. The colors did not look the same anymore, I did not see things clearly even within a few feet away from me; it got to the point where I thought that I am going to lose my eyes forever. Not only did that physically make me feel bad, but I was falling into deep depression.

After going to numerous eye doctors, who just kept changing my prescription, I had to find a different alternative, and a more effective one. My girlfriend suggested that I should look into getting laser eye surgery. At this point, I figured I had nothing to lose, and, started doing some intensive research. Boothe Laser Center was the name that kept repeating, not only on the internet, but in conversations that I had with some professional eye doctors and patients. From having all these conversations, I understood that Dr. Boothe was the doctor for me. After scheduling an appointment, and visiting the office for the first time, I knew I was in the right hands. The office staff was very friendly and made me feel so comfortable. He operated on me five days later and I saw improvement in my eyesight the next day. The surgery itself lasted just a few minutes, amd the doctor carefully explained the
procedure during the surgery, so I would not be nervous.

Thank you for everything that you have done to me.
I wore glasses for over twenty years and thought that it was my only option. While working on a trading desk for very long hours, I noticed that my vision significantly got worse. It is hard to sit the whole day in front of a monitor and the strain is overwhelming. Some of the people who work in my office had Lasik done and were feeling better.

As I did some research on Laser Eye Surgery, I was still skeptical of getting this procedure done. I was scared that it would be unsuccessful and would only hurt my eyes more. I live in Houston (Texas) and never thought I would travel to get this procedure done. After hearing a lot of good stories about Dr Boothe from friends who live around Dallas, I decided to visit his office and see whether I would feel comfortable to pick him to do the procedure.

Dear Dr. Boothe & his dedicated staff,

I thought that you would like to hear my story. I lived in New Jersey for many years and moved to Dallas, Texas almost three years ago. At the time, I met an amazing woman, Leona, who worked with me in an office downtown. I fell in love with her, but did not feel confident enough to ask her to date me, due to problems I have with my physical appearance. One of the major issues had to do with my eyeglasses. I have been wearing them for years, especially since I spend most of my time in front of a computer and contact lenses tend to irritate me over time.

I was thinking about doing a laser eye surgery for a long time, but was not approved as a candidate in 2003. I decided to go again and check whether technology improved and if I may be able to do the procedure with Dr. Boothe. I visited the Boothe Laser and Eye Center and was re-examined by the staff, which found out that the Intralasik technique can be used to solve my hyperopia (farsightedness). They explained to me the benefits of using Intralasik - unlike eariler technologies, a computer activates the laser and makes sure that the eye is mapped prior to surgery and maximizes accuracy. 

When I saw the office and understood that I can do a Lasik surgery, I wanted to go ahead as soon as possible. I was operated by Dr. Boothe the same day, and he was calm and extremely professional. The results were very satisfying - after a few weeks, I got used to see without glasses. Everyone at work, including Leona, commented on how I look much better without glasses, and this encouraged me to change my hairstyle and even my wardrobe. I look quite different now, and it literally changed my life. I found the courage to ask Leona out, and she agreed and started dating with me. We have been together for a year and last week I proposed to her - SHE SAID YES - and we plan to gewt married in the summer. I want to thank you for the great care and be sure Dr. Boothe will be an honored guest in our wedding.

Hi Dr. Boothe,

I hope you remember me… I’m a junior at SMU and was treated by you a month and a half ago. I came to the Boothe Eye Care and Laser Center after hearing about it from my friend, who had astigmatism problems and was operated by you. She highly recommended you and said that you are very professional and that the office staff was really nice.  My short-sightedness became a real issue in the last couple of years, as I was struggling with some of the daily routines of being a student. As you explained to me, the medical term for my condition is myopia, and it can be treated by Lasik surgery. They say, “Practice makes perfect!”
Naturally, most people when they contemplate the idea of having a surgical procedure done, involving their eyes, are uneasy and have many questions and/or concerns. Let me tell you that when I considered the idea of having laser vision correction, it was necessary that I would only trust my eyes to the hands of a proven and experienced doctor.

Well, in talking with friends of mine who had the procedure done, I learned that Dr. Boothe was one of the most experienced doctors in laser vision correction. Each person I talked to also indicated they had a pleasant experience and positive results. It seemed as though Dr. Boothe was the man for the job and I am glad I chose him.

From my personal experience, I can say that before the operation even began, I was well informed of what the procedure involved and had answers to any questions I had at that time. During the day of the operation, everything went smoothly with no pain at all, and just a little bit of pressure. The follow-up appointments were comforting, because I knew that my eyes were further being closely monitored after the operation to ensure success. Overall, I was impressed with the level of care and meticulous detail, which also included visiting with Dr. Boothe personally on multiple occasions. Throughout the whole process, everything seemed so systematic and orderly. Additionally, there were many personable assistants who aided in the process.

I walked in legally blind, without the aid of contacts or glasses, and left with 20/15 perfect vision.
Certainly, when it comes to Dr. Boothe, I am convinced that practice does indeed make perfect!
