A Praise for Dr. William Boothe
(received by email)
Hi Dr. Boothe,
I hope you remember me… I’m a junior at SMU and was treated by you a month and a half ago. I came to the Boothe Eye Care and Laser Center after hearing about it from my friend, who had astigmatism problems and was operated by you. She highly recommended you and said that you are very professional and that the office staff was really nice. My short-sightedness became a real issue in the last couple of years, as I was struggling with some of the daily routines of being a student. As you explained to me, the medical term for my condition is myopia, and it can be treated by Lasik surgery. I felt relieved to know that I won’t need to show up any longer to class with eyeglasses to be able to read what professors write on the board or to identify my classmates when they come into the classroom, for example.
I admit that I was afraid prior to the surgery, but my friend told me not to worry and you also helped by showing me what you are going to do and giving me the feeling that you did many other cases before and have the knowledge to help me with my condition. The procedure went smoothly, I felt some kind of intense pressure on each of the eyes, but this lasted for seconds each time.
I guess that going to school without glasses (contact lenses irritate my eyes) was the biggest change I felt so far. I’m so pleased with my new eyes. Thank you so much Dr. Boothe!
Yours Sincerely,
M. G.
