A Letter to Boothe Laser Center
The following note was received in an overseas envelope addressed to the Boothe Eye Care & Laser Center in Plano, Texas:
“To the great medical team at Boothe Laser Center -
As I promised, I’m sending you an update on my condition. It’s been six months since I was operated at the center and my eyesight is better than ever! I decided to fly to the U.S. after a cornea specialist in Belgium advised me to find a surgeon who specializes in Intralase technology.
I read about Dr. Boothe’s vast experience with the technique and came to Texas to have the procedure done on my eyes. I really enjoyed my stay there and the friendly welcome I received from the center’s caring staff. You made this trip very enjoyable and I was pleased to find it cost-effective, combining a vacation and a surgery and paying less than what it would cost me to do it in Europe.
